Richmond Heights, OH (July 18, 2024) – At around 6:40 p.m. on July 15, emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a car crash that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
According to local law enforcement reports, a 2011 Ford Escape was traveling westbound in the 25200 block of Highland Road during the evening hours. As the vehicle proceeded down the roadway, utilizing the left lane, it swerved to avoid crashing into a 2012 Jeep Patriot, which was turning left. The two vehicles subsequently collided, resulting in significant damage to at least one of the involved vehicles. One person was hurt in the crash. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 30-year-old Korrinthia Vernice Washington. Washington was then transported to Euclid Hospital for further care. The incident is being investigated at this time.
