Cleveland, OH (January 28, 2024) – One person was fatally injured in a car crash reported on Cleveland’s East Side during the early morning hours of Saturday, January 27th. Authorities were dispatched to the scene at around 12:24 a.m.
According to police reports, two vehicles collided in the area of Superior Avenue and Giddings Road. The incident prompted the Cleveland Police Department and firefighters to close down the intersection while working to remove the involved vehicles. One person involved in the crash, identified as a 55-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. Three other victims were injured in the crash and transported to area hospitals. The three injured victims were identified as a 17-year-old female, a 43-year-old female, and a 20-year-old male. At this time, the Cleveland Police Department is investigating.
