Cleveland Heights, OH (July 14, 2024) – Just before 9:00 a.m. on July 12, emergency officials were called to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Cleveland Heights.
Official reports indicate that a gray 2012 Honda Fit was stopped on Mayfield Road at a red light at the intersection of Copper Trace Road while facing in the westbound direction. At the same time, a silver 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound on Mayfield Road behind the Honda Fit. For reasons unknown, the Chevrolet Malibu crashed into the rear of the Honda Fit.
One person was injured in the accident. Emergency medical services provided care to 88-year-old Bill Zohos of Mayfield Heights. Zohos was then transported to Metro Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
