Bedford, OH (August 3, 2024) – At around 2:30 p.m. on July 31, emergency officials were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Bedford area.
Official reports indicate that a black 2023 Chevrolet Equinox was stopped on Southwick Drive at the intersection of Broadway Avenue for a red light. As the light turned green, the Chevrolet made a left turn onto the southbound side of Broadway Avenue. The driver of a black 2016 vehicle did not stop for a red light at the intersection. As a result, the two vehicles collided. One person was injured as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services transported 78-year-old Beatrice Harris to South Pointe Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
